Five Destinations I'd Like to Visit Again

As part of the ‘Top Destinations to go there‘ campaign,Booked.net - Top Destinations to Go There I've been asked to blog about five destinations I would like to visit again.

Now I don't easily go back to a place I travel to, unless I really really like it. So here goes:

  • New York
I love the US as a travel destination and New York City in particular. It's is so versatile and really a city that never sleeps. I have to add that as an Ex- New Yorker, going to New York is a little bit like coming home. I'm going back this December and I can't wait to see what's new since the last time I was there.

  • Japan
The thing I love about Japan is that weird blend of East meets West. I love how you can still see traces of traditional Japanese culture mixed in with ultra modern gadgets, technology and trends. I have been twice and will probably go again.

  • Cuba
Cuba is another destination that gave me precious travel memories. I loved how the Cuban people were so happy and cheerful regardless of the fact that they owned real basic things. I went in the mid nineties so I'm sure it's completely different now. I would love to go back and see what it's like these days.

  • My parents house in Andalusia
My parents are of that lucky generation that they were able to throw in the towel early and retire at 60. They bought a house in the south of Spain to escape those dreary Dutch rainy days. I love going there and waking up with a view of the Med outside my bedroom window. They are trying to sell now, so I fear that I might not ever be able to go back there again.

  • Argentina
I went to Buenos Aires about ten year ago for a friend's birthday party and loved it. The people, the culture and the sights. I didn't get to see any other parts of the country, so I would love to go back and travel south. And maybe take in Chile while I am down there. Some day!

I loved New York tho. I'd love to go back and be able to take my time this time without having a list of must sees
