Last Sunday afternoon a friend and I found refuge from the wet snow by having an unlimited prosecco brunch at One Aldwych Hotel London. We’d booked a table for brunch at Indigo, the restaurant at One Aldwych that overlooks the swanky hotel lobby. I only have one word for the whole experience: Amazing! Okay, maybe a few more words: Certainly one worth a repeat visit!!

The setting is trendy, the service is friendly, the food top notch and most importantly, the prosecco is never ending! Brunchers can opt for a 2 or a 3 course meal, with or without unlimited prosecco. My friend and I opted for 2 courses. I chose the One Aldwych Hotel trio of burgers which were done to perfection; One spicy lamb burger, one succulent lobster burger and one juicy hamburger. (Not from Tesco, I made sure...) My friend didn't want to take the risk and ordered the Eggs Florentine. For dessert I had a sticky toffee pudding that melted on my tongue and my friend a fruity crumble that couldn't have been bigger. In the meanwhile our glasses kept being topped up till we could drink no more.
We finished the meal with a cheese board of a selection of three very potent, yet creamy cheeses, some chutney and slices of raisin bread. A perfect end to a perfect Sunday brunch and certainly worth braving severe, wintery weather for.
